17th Wisdom Al-Hikam
According to Kalam Hikmah 17, Imam Ibnu Athaillah Askandary
"THERE IS NO GREATER STUPIDITY THE PERSON WHO WANTS TO DO SOMETHING AT THIS TIME OTHER THAN WHAT GOD HAS DETERMINED"
ما تَرَكَ مِنَ الجَهْلِ شَيْئاً مَنْ أَرادَ أَنْ يُحْدِثَ في الوَقْتِ غَيْرُ ما أَظْهَرَهُ اللهُ فيِهِ
It does not leave the slightest ignorance, whoever tries to do something in a time other than what Allah shows him at that time.
The lesson that can be taken from this wisdom:What God has determined for the servant in this world is certain contains a lot of wisdom that is sometimes difficult for us to realize. If God gives ease and breadth in worldly affairs that do not conflict with his Sharia, we should pay attention to our manners to God as a servant, be grateful for what has been given, and not be disappointed in God because He does not give more than what He has determined. Allah swt said:
"And regarding the favors of your Lord, then you should speak"
QS ad-dhuha: 11
This verse teaches us to speak of the favors of God that He has bestowed (at-tahadduts bi an-ni`mah), and that is part of gratitude, because by talking about it we will remember how great the favors He has given. But this verse also contains the meaning: and you should speak using the favor of your Lord. Whatever goodness, advantage, and breadth that God has bestowed upon us is His decree, it is a trust from Him that we need to fulfill its rights, and this verse teaches us to speak not only verbally but by using the blessings that God has given,
the person who is given rizki in the form of property is obliged to speak to the needy by using his property, the person who is gifted with knowledge is obliged to convey his knowledge.
