28th WISDOM OF WISDOM
SALIK, DON'T STOP BECAUSE OF TEMPTATION
ما استودع فى غيب السرائر ظهرفى شهادة الظواهر
"What is hidden in the secrets of the heart and the unseen, will appear real imprint on the visible members of the birth"
The words of wisdom above are based on the words of the Prophet; "Remember! that in the human body there is a lump of flesh. If he is good, then the others are good too. And if he is bad, then the other members are bad too. That lump of flesh is the heart."
What is meant by the heart above is a component in humans that is made for self-introspection in controlling feelings, instincts, etc.
The hadith above gives an understanding that the heart is the sole command in humans in carrying out various activities and activities. As well as a guard against the cycle of feelings, sentiments, instincts and everything related to one's mind. This means that it is clear that every expression of the limbs, verbal movements and other members is a direct contact from the heart. So, if a person's mind is healthy and free from heart diseases, even the walls of his heart are built with a building of piety to Allah. So for sure, the thing that is revealed through the birth members is the consistency of carrying out God's commands adorned with commendable morals.
However, if his mind contains falsehood and is full of heart disease, then what will be seen in the outer members are despicable qualities and despicable actions. In this second part, the majority of people try to cover up with the veil of hypocrisy. So the outward behavior does not match the inner essence. With that step, the secret of his ugliness is invisible to the public and they judge him as a person who is physically and mentally clean. Just keep in mind, efforts like this usually don't last long. Because outward virtues, if they are not connected to their inner roots, will gradually disappear and have no attraction at all among the people, their true nature will eventually be known.
Know that love is a hidden feeling behind the curtain of my heart, but it can be revealed and read through outward behavior. The implications of behavior outwardly, can be read to eat the heart that is hidden in it. So if you find someone who proclaims himself that he loves Allah and His Messenger. So watch and observe what he does! Are his daily actions in accordance with Allah's orders and the Prophet's advice or vice versa?
If it turns out that he is diligent and consistent with the provisions of syara' law, istiqamah in worship and stays away from religious prohibitions with all his might. This means that strong evidence can be made that the confession of love for Allah and His Messenger is true and in accordance with his heart.
However, if it turns out that he turns away from the way of Allah, he always commits immorality and acts depraved. This means that his confession is false and unacceptable. The popular saying goes, "Love without sacrifice is bullshit".
God is great who has very beautiful wisdom. He makes the human heart ready to pour out his holy love to the great lover, Allah SWT. Then He created physical strength and instinct / character, which are integrated in one potential to fulfill the rights of love to Him. So it is obligatory for us, to always try our best to be able to step in His path, in order to fulfill our rights to love Him.
And in the middle of the journey to His presence, if it turns out to be blocked by a weakening wall, then we have to go back and complain to Him. We must come into His presence, whispering with shame about all the shortcomings and negligence that we have been through.
Understand again, in essence our behavior and movements reflect the heart's content. and it is this heart that becomes the command of the other members. If our hearts are always calm and peaceful, then the expression of the members born will look calm too, the face will always look radiant. Remember! Allah has directed all His servants to make their hearts a vessel to accommodate love only for Him.
We should always fight for the existence of our hearts and instincts while asking the Creator for help to always be on His way. Consistent and disciplined in carrying out all His commands and avoiding all His prohibitions at all times. Immediately return to flee before Him, when there are obstacles and challenges that block our journey. And if our feelings are defeated by lustful desires, then hasten to knock on the door of repentance with regret before Him.
In this era, the majority of people underestimate the provisions and legal lines in religious teachings. They reasoned that the main benchmark is a heart that is safe from mental illnesses and good interactions with others. Behavioral problems are born, cannot be made as a barometer of one's luck or failure. Statements like this are completely wrong. Because if a person is mentally established, then as an implication, good behavior will be seen in his outer members, as you know.
So there is no reason not to behave properly in accordance with the rails of the Shari'a. A heart that is pure and clean from mental illnesses, will be a place for love for Allah SWT and will reflect well outwardly. If there is someone who neglects to carry out his obligations and underestimates Allah's commands and dares to carry out His prohibitions, then it becomes strong evidence that his heart is empty of love and ta'dzim to Allah. It has even been filled with worldly love, treasure, rank and so on.
A heart that is busy with worldly affairs as above, means that it has become a prisoner of its lust. There is no empty space for the love of Allah. This kind of heart has been diverted from the original purpose for which it was created, and it has betrayed its Creator.
Remember! A heart filled with things other than Allah (Aghyar), it is impossible to insert love for Allah. He only created 1 heart in the human body.
He said: "Allah has not made for a person two hearts in his cavity" (Surah Al-Ahzab.33.04).
Therefore, let us cultivate our hearts with strong faith and piety to the Creator. So that our body and mind are in the same direction. The path is full of His grace, maghfirah and guidance. With the hope of becoming a servant who loves and is loved by Him. Amen
