Wisdom - 14 God Who Brings Nature
It means :
Nature is all darkness and that which illuminates it is because in it is seen the Truth (signs of Allah). Whoever sees nature, but does not see Allah, whether in it, beside it, before it, or after it, then he really needs that light. And closed to him the light of wisdom by thick clouds of natural objects.
Explanation :
Nature is essentially dark, non-existent. It is the existence of Allah swt that gives rise to the existence of nature. There is no existence that is separate from the existence of God.
It is quite difficult to understand the concept of being but not being, not together but not separate, this is a divine concept that cannot be broken by the mind without being illuminated by the light from the bottom of the heart.
The eyes of the heart illuminated by divine light can see the connection between what is and what is not, not together but not separated. Then the power of the heart can see the unseen that is not separated from the events of this world.
There are four levels of the heart's view of nature's connection with God the Creator.
First: Those who see Allah and do not see this world.
Even though they are in the middle of the frenzy of these creatures, the eyes of the heart remain focused on God, and are not disturbed by the noise of the creatures around them.
The path of the surrounding beings is like a mirror illuminated by light, their gaze does not stick to the mirror.
Second: Those who see creatures on an outward level, and see God on an inner level. The eyes of their hearts see nature as the embodiment of God's nature. Everything that exists is a writing that tells about God. Every manifestation from this world carries a meaning that tells about Allah swt
Third: Those who see God outwardly while seeing creatures in secret. The eyes of their hearts first see God as the source of everything. Only then did they see a creature that received a gift from God.
Nature is nothing but His actions, His compositions, His paintings, or the work of His hands.
Fourth: Those who see creatures first then see God. They tread the path with caution and vigilance, needing time to remove doubts, arguing with reason until they come to a conclusion that it turns out that God is the one who controls the existence of creatures.
The word of God in Surah Al-Hasyr: 24 which means:
He is Allah, the creator of all creation, the creator (from nothing into existence), the creator of form (creatures according to what He wills), for Him is also a good and noble name, glorify Him what is in heaven and on earth and He is the Mighty and the Wise.
So, the way of looking at God and His creatures can be categorized as follows;
'Asyikin : Looking at creation and contemplating it, the more he contemplates it, the more the beauty and perfection of the Creator becomes apparent.
He was preoccupied with what he saw.
Mutakhalliq : He witnessed the attributes of God known in Asma al husna. Nature is a signal to know the name of God and the nature of His perfection. Everything that is seen tells something about Allah swt
Muwahhid : Immortal in His essence. His consciousness disappeared, through his tongue the words of God were spoken which were revealed in the Al-Quran as a guide to God.
Mutahqqiq : Returning to his humanity awareness, to take on the task of guiding mankind to the path of Allah swt His heart always looks to Allah, and only depends on Him. This life is a preaching field for him, all elements of nature are tools to prosper the earth.
