لَا لُبْ الَةٍ لِيَسْتَعْمِلَكَ ا اهَا لَوْ ادَكَ لَاسْتَعْمَلَكَ اجٍ.
" Don't ask Him to take you out of one condition to be employed in another. Because, if you really want to, of course He will employ you without having to let you out (from your previous condition). ”
In fact, time is like a sword, if you don't use it, it will draw you. Shaykh Ibn 'Atha'illah said:
لَا لُبْ الَةٍ لِيَسْتَعْمِلَكَ ا اهَا.
" Don't ask Him to take you out of one condition to be employed in another.
Do not ask from your Lord (Allah) to expel you from one condition of the world or religion, so that Allah will run you or put you in another condition.
If you (O murīd ) are in one world condition such as work, or a religious condition such as seeking knowledge, then you ask Allah to transfer you to another condition, because you feel that this only prevents you from facing Allah. So it shows at least your etiquette towards Allah.
لَوْ ادَكَ لَاسْتَعْمَلَكَ اجٍ.
" Because, if you really want to, of course He will employ you without having to take you out (from your previous condition). ”
If Allah wills to love you, surely He will move you without having to take you out of your previous condition.
If Allah wants to love you and you are in maqām kasab or seeking knowledge, Allah will give you help, in the form of making it easy to do good deeds and facing His adhirat .
