Hikmah - 2 Maqom Asbab and Maqom Tajrid

It means

Your desire to be Tajrid (Specializing in worship and abandoning efforts to find a fortune)  while Allah places you in al-asbab (cause and effect, doing efforts to find a fortune) is included in the hidden lust.

And your desire to be in the position of Al-asbab while Allah placed you in the position of Tajrid, is a decrease in himmah or high spirit.

Explanation

Allah SWT. has created a system of cause and effect in this world very neatly. Furthermore, humans develop systems in their lives based on reason, five senses and senses that have been equipped by Allah to govern this earth as Khalifah.

So with the research of Allah's law (Sunnatullah), humans are able to find various kinds of scientific and scientific discoveries such as Astronomy (Astronomy, Medicine, Mathematics (Hisab) , Technology and so on. All of which are for the benefit and goodness of humans. Cause and effect system this has become the basis of the human journey.

However, by relying on the law of cause and effect, sometimes people become negligent of the role of Allah swt. in his life. This causes humans to depend on their deeds and forget who created the cause and effect.

Humans who rely on the power of cause to get results (results) are called asbab experts .

The journey of the law of cause and effect often makes people forget the power of God.

They do something with full confidence that the result will be born from the cause as if God did not interfere in their affairs. So therein lies the shirk without realizing it. That is hidden shirk, even though shirk is a big sin.

Full confidence in the law of cause and effect as if Allah's Destiny has been destroyed and does not apply. It is as dangerous as the idolaters.

So that is where God has sent the Prophets and Messengers with their miracles in order to reorganize thinking and full confidence in the law of cause and effect. Prophets and Messengers teach and introduce the Creator of cause and effect, that is, God is the Creator of everything. In this way, people are introduced to God who is the only place to lean and depend on and hope. So that they will be safe from shirk of cause and effect.

As long as humans live on this earth, they cannot be separated from the cause and effect system created by God. Allah's word in Surat Al-Hadid: 1 & 2 which means:

Everything in the heavens and the earth glorifies God, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. He is the only one who controls the heavens and the earth, he gives life and death, and he has power over all things.

A person who realizes the power of God in the form of the law of cause and effect and places his dependence only on God and does not depend on charity, then that person is called ahli tajrid.

The tajrid people do charity just like the asbab people who follow the sunnatullah, which is the law of cause and effect, but the difference is the testimony in the heart.

Asbab people believe in cause and effect, while tajrid people believe in doing charity as commanded by God, following cause and effect and expecting full results from God.

An expression says:

Disobeying the law of cause and effect is stupidity while relying on the law of cause and effect is shirk.
