Wisdom - 9 Circumstances Determine Actions
Al Hikam Wisdom 3
تَنَوَّعَتْ أَجْنَاسُ الأَعْمَالِ لِتَنَوُّعِ وَارِدَاتِ الأَحْوَالِ
It means :
Various kinds of actions are due to the occurrence of various circumstances.
Explanation :
Ahwal is the plural form of the Haal pronunciation, namely the state and mood.
This means that this mood will shape the state of a charity. Charity is an act that is done outwardly, while haal is an atmosphere and an act of the heart. So charity is related to the outer, while haal is related to the inner.
If the heart controls all the limbs, then the actions of the heart will form outward actions. Haal or mood is what is considered a spiritual experience in the process of reaching the essence and makrifat. Haal can grow Dzauq or feelings related to the nature of divinity so that it will give birth to makrifatullah. Therefore, without haal, you will not get the essence of going to the gate of makrifat.
The mood or mood that controls the conscience is different, so with that difference, different actions will arise.
The mood must be understood seriously by the person who enters the thoriqoh journey, so that they can grow happiness and peace in every deed and can achieve the goal correctly. Both with prayer, dhikr, fasting, mujahadah, as well as exercise restraining lust.
