History of the Nazhatut Thullab Islamic Boarding School in Sampang

The establishment of the Nazhatut Thullab Islamic Boarding School Prajjan Camplong, Sampang Madura, stems from the incident of "Trip Tanah Prajjan" by Kyai Abdul 'Allam whose real name is Pang Ratoh Bumi who comes from the eastern tip of the Madura Salt Island, namely Sumenep Regency. the name Abdul 'Allam was a gift from Hadratu Al Shaykh Aji Gunung Sampang, while studying and studying, accompanied by two good friends from Java who later earned the nicknames Buju' Napo and Gung Rabah Pamekasan.

According to some saga (H. Abdurrahman Sumenep), when Prince Cakra Ningrat II was captured by the Dutch Colonial (1674 – 1679) and exiled to Madura, K. Abd. 'Allam (Pang Ratoh Bumi) often communicated with Prince Cakra Ningrat II in order to discuss the people's struggle against the colonialists/Dutch. Based on the saga, the existence of the struggle of K. Abd. 'Allam in the fight against the invaders, his time almost coincided with the struggle of Pangaran Cakra Ningkrat II.

Based on a small historical record of the ancestral history of the city of Sampang, that when K. Abdul 'Allam was still studying with Buju' Aji Gunung with his two friends (Buju' Napo and Gung Rabah Pamekasan) got an assignment from his teacher to go to Ratoh Ebuh 's residence in Bangkalan. As for the task is to pick up the Qur'an and a ring of the teacher who fell into the latrine (WC). He received the mandate when the teacher was about to perform the Asr prayer and it was hoped that before Maghrib the two objects would have been received in Sampang. "Subhanallah, Masha Allah" BiidzinillahIn an instant, the order can be carried out by the two Aji Gunung students before entering Maghrib. Therefore, the teacher then ordered his students who came from Java to move (Ihyaul Mawat / Tripe Tanah Baru) towards the North East of Sampang City, precisely in Omben District now in Napo Village which was then dubbed by the surrounding community as Buju' Napo. .

Gung Rabah was ordered to ber ihyaul Mawat to Pamekasan district. In the meantime, Pang Ratoh Bumi or K. Abdul 'Allam himself was ordered to ' Aduko' to the North East area of Sampang City, namely " Panyajjeen " Village which is now Prajjan Village, Camplong District. In that place there is a large spring source (Prajjan source). In this area he was accompanied by one of Hadratu Al Shaikh Aji Gunung's daughters. Abdul 'Allam has two daughters named Nyai Syaibah and Nyai Syaidah and one son Kyai Abdul Kamal. One of the daughters of Buju' Abdul 'Allam settled in the Prajjan district and established a boarding school called " Langgar Tana(The first surau/ langgar made of earth). Meanwhile, his son, Kyai Abdul Kamal, continued the struggle of Kyai Abdul 'Allam, namely Rukhiyah Islamiyah and Rukhiyah Wathoniyah (social and government preaching) who occupied Langgar Tile or Langgar Bara' which is now the Nazhatut Thullab Islamic Boarding School.
