La Tansa Islamic Boarding School is a modern Islamic boarding school located in the Parakansantri area, Lebakgedong, Lebak, Banten. This boarding school was founded by Drs. KH Ahmad Rifa'i Arief (deceased) who also acted as the leader of the Daar el-Qolam Islamic boarding school (Pasir Gintung, Jayanti, Tangerang) at that time. Now, after the founder's death, Pesantren La Tansa is led by KH Adrian Mafatihullah Karim, MA and Dr. KH Sholeh, S. Ag, MM. This institution is under the auspices of the La Tansa Mashiro Foundation, which was also founded by Drs KH Ahmad Rifa'i Arief.
History The early establishment of this institution was born by the Daar El-Qolam Gintung Islamic Boarding School, Jayanti, Tangerang, as a development of insight and capacity building with a more varied education and teaching system that meets the needs of the people. which provides excellent prospects for an educational facility.
The target students who are targeted to study at the La Tansa Islamic Boarding School are not only residents of this area, but furthermore all Indonesian people who want to deepen their general knowledge and at the same time want to understand and practice the good teachings of Islam. This is proven by the presence of students from various cities and provinces in Indonesia to study at the La Tansa Islamic Boarding School every year.
This institution is managed by the “LA TANSA MASHIRO” Foundation which was founded by Drs. KH. Ahmad Rifa'i Arief (late) with Notary Deed No. 4 Dated January 9, 1991 and the Deed of Amendment No. 44 April 20, 1998, having his/her address at Parakansantri, Lebakgedong, Lebak, Banten. The birth of the "LA TANSA" Islamic Boarding School is based on the awareness to build human resources who are faithful and devoted, broad-minded, knowledgeable, have good morals (believers, muttaqien and rosikhina fil'ilmi) who will become the next generation of the nation, state and religion in various sectors. life.
And since 2017, the La Tansa Islamic boarding school has expanded its wings with the opening of the La Tansa 3 Kun Karima Islamic Boarding School in Majasari District, Pandeglang. Meanwhile, the La Tansa 2 Islamic Boarding School located on the La Tansa Mashiro Rangkas Bitung Campus will soon be opened in the 2018-2019 school year. And for the La Tansa 4 & 5 Islamic Boarding School located in Cipanas, Lebak, it is currently under construction.
La Tansa Islamic Boarding School was born as a manifestation of the ummah's need for patterns and education systems that are in accordance with current conditions, conditions where the desire will be to create a generation that not only pursues worldly values but also does not eliminate the hereafter values embedded in everyday life. day.
TEACHING PROGRAM
The educational pattern of the La Tansa Islamic Boarding School refers to two things, namely the parenting path and the teaching path. Parenting education is a pattern of student education related to all activities and the disciplined life of students outside of school hours or with other descriptions the parenting path can be said to be a pattern of student education in the dormitory, while the teaching path itself is a pattern of student education while in class related to teaching and learning activities and school discipline. The Parenting Council in this position functions as a control or supervisory function on the pattern of upbringing education. And basically the pattern of intra or extracurricular education even though it is a unit that is interrelated with each other and integrated into an integrated education and teaching system.
The Parenting Council at the La Tansa Islamic Boarding School is divided into two working areas, to improve the discipline and control of male students under the coordination of the Men's Care Council, while the improvement and supervision of female students' discipline is under the coordination of the Women's Care Council. The Parenting Council in the scheme of the La Tansa Islamic Boarding School's organizational structure is the Directorate II for Parenting for Boys and Directorate III for Parenting for Girls, currently led by Al-Ustad M. Rosyidi, S. Ag. As director of the Men's Parenting Council and Al-Ustadzah Hj. Ernawati Sulhatul Imamah, M. Ag.

In practice the Parenting Council in its function as a supervisor and control function oversees several sub-sections, namely the Parenting Section, Nahdha Section, Ubudiah Section, Health Section, Mabikori Section, Women's Section and Extracurricular Section.
The duties of this institution include the lives of students outside of school hours, while the main task of this institution is to regulate the activities of the life of students in the dormitory for 24 hours. as a builder of student council organizations and Scouts and as a coach and enforcer of student discipline.
The life of the students of the La Tansa Islamic Boarding School for 24 hours cannot be separated from discipline, whether it is physical discipline, language or all daily activities of students. Therefore the Parenting Council becomes the center in controlling student discipline. And as a manifestation of this authority, the nurturing assembly is assisted by the Santri Organization, namely the Ikhwanushofa and Akhwatushofa student organizations and the La Tansa scouts.
In upholding the discipline of the students, the Parenting Council places more emphasis on awareness of the importance of disciplined life and preventive measures and eliminating physical sanctions. Thus, it is hoped that all students are fully aware of the importance of living with discipline, the awareness that is born truly from the conscience of all students and not because of discipline. element of compulsion in it.
In order to be more intensive and effective in handling the discipline of the santri, the Parenting Council delegates its authority to several sub-sections within its authority, so that the guidance process will be felt very quickly by all students without forgetting the function of coordination between sections within the working area of the Santri Parenting Council.
EDUCATION PROGRAM
6 (Six) Years Islamic Boarding School Program
1. SLTP (Ma'had Mutawasithi) Accredited A SK. National Accreditation Agency No.01/BAS/MN/II/2006. This program is intended for students who graduate from Elementary School or Madrasah Ibtida'iyah with an education period of six years, which is taken from grade one sequentially to grade six.
2. SMU (Ma'had Tsanawi) Accredited B SK. School Accreditation Board No. 02/BASDA-BTN/SK/V2004. This program is intended for all La Tansa Islamic Boarding School students who continue their studies at the high school level at La Tansa Islamic Boarding School and transfer students from other Islamic Boarding Schools by first taking a predetermined academic test.
At this level, there are two majors of education chosen by students, namely the Natural Sciences (IPA) department and the Social Sciences (IPS) department. 4 (Four) Year Program Equalization Program for Islamic Boarding School Materials & Languages for prospective students graduating from SLTP/MTs (1 Year); continued with the La Tansa High School Islamic Boarding School Program (3 Years) This program is intended for students who graduate from Junior High School (SMP) or Madrasah Tsanawiah (MTs).
This program is carried out for four years, the first year as a year of learning boarding and linguistic materials at the level of first and second grade junior high school materials, only then in the second year students from this program are registered as high school students and sit in fourth grade by starting learning the same material. with students from the first program (SMP).
3.
