To get to the pesantren, which is located in Mekar Jaya village, Gantar sub-district, Indramayu district, one must travel a distance of 20 km from Jalan Raya Pantura. The road was bumpy and potholed. This condition, of course, is in stark contrast to the modernist idea of ​​pesantren with the grandest label in Southeast Asia.
