Mahfudzot Class 2 KMI Gontor and its Meaning and Explanation (Part 3)

Honor is based on etiquette

**************************

Do not look at the clothes that are on a person,

If you want to know that person then look at his manners.

And the beauty that is on a person's face is not an honor for him ,

If it is not accompanied by beauty in actions and behavior.

So let a person see someone who is better than himself in terms of etiquette ,

And he should also look at those who are less than himself in terms of wealth.

Syarah / Explanation and Conclusion:

1. If we want to know whether someone is honorable or not, then we should not only look at his appearance, but look at his morals and character.

2. And know that the physical beauty possessed by someone is not a benchmark for us to judge. So if we really want to judge him, let us look at all his behavior and speech.

3. If someone wants his adab to be better, then he should look to other people whose adab is better than himself. In addition, he should also look at people whose wealth is not as much as himself so that gratitude arises in his heart, and so that compassion arises in his heart for the suffering of others.
