حَقُّ الْوَالِدَيْنِ

Rights of both parents

**************************

إِنَّ لِلْوَالِدَيْنِ حَقًّا عَلَيْنَا # بَعْدَ حَقِّ اللهِ فِي الاِحْتِرَامِ

Indeed, both parents have rights over us

After Allah's right in terms of respect

أَوْجَدَانَا وَرَبَّيَانَا صَغِيْرًا # فَاسْتَحَقَّا نِهَايَةَ الْإِكْرَامِ

They have made us exist in the world and also educated us in childhood

Then it is their right to get the highest respect

Syarah / Explanation and Conclusion:

After Allah and His Messenger, our parents are the most deserving of our respect in this world, because they are the most meritorious in our lives. They have raised and cared for us from childhood to adulthood. They are the ones who have educated us. Therefore, it is proper for us to give the highest respect for all their services, even though we will not be able to repay all their services.
