Mahfudzot Class 2 KMI Gontor and its Meaning and Explanation (Part 13)

المُقْتَطَفَاتُ (1) 

Selected Words of Wisdom (1)

لَمْ اصِدًا # لَى التَّفْرِيْطِ الْبَذْرِ

If you don't grow crops, then you see people harvesting their crops

Then you will definitely regret the result of being lazy during farming

ا ارْعَهَا # الْمَعَاصِيَ لُ النِّعَمَ

And when you are in a favor, then take care of it

Because verily, the disobedience takes away pleasure

Syarah / Explanation and Conclusion:

The effort should be made in its time, because an effort if it is not done at the time when it must be done, will not bear fruit and will only bear regret.

As for the favors given by Allah to us, we should always be grateful, and never pollute our gratitude with kufr in the form of disobedience to the Giver of favors, namely Allah Jalla Jalaaluhu. As His word:

رَبُّكُمْ لَئِن لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ لَئِن ابِي لَشَدِيدٌ

And (remember also), when your Lord declared; "Indeed, if you are grateful, We will surely increase you (benefits) and if you deny (My favors), then My punishment will be very painful. "

Thus, the favor will increase if grateful and will decrease if dikufuri.
