He is also a figure of a scholar who never gets tired of gaining knowledge. His odyssey began in 1921, studying at the Jamsaren Islamic Boarding School, Solo. Then he continued to the Kasingan Islamic Boarding School, Rembang in 1923. Meanwhile, in 1926 he studied at Tebu Ireng, Jombang and moved to Bangkalan Madura.
KH. Suyuthi felt that the knowledge she had gained was not enough, and finally decided to study in Makkah for 5 years. Upon his return from Makkah, he taught at the Sedayu Gresik Islamic boarding school.
In 1933 he returned to study at KH Hasyim Asy'ari at the Tebu Ireng Islamic Boarding School in Jombang.
From the process of his scientific odyssey, KH Suyuthi and his friends finally established the Raudlatul Ulum Islamic Boarding School as a means of education for the surrounding community.

Then continued by his other son, namely Drs. KH.M Humam Suyuthi, M.HI (died 2010) and KH. Faruq Suyuthi. Currently, the caretaker of the Raudlatul Ulum Islamic Boarding School is Drs KH. M. Najib Suyuthi. In addition, they are also assisted by senior students at the Raudlatul Ulum Islamic Boarding School.

What is a special feature or superiority of Raudlatul Ulum Islamic Boarding School is in terms of the study of the yellow book and mastery of the Arabic language. The students are required to be able to speak Arabic both passively and actively.
