The story of his journey during his life can be an example and valuable lesson for the people after him. Here's the explanation:


1. Parents of Prophet Ibrahim


Excerpted from the book by Shaykh Muhammad bin Ahmad bin Ilyas (1448-1522) entitled The Story of Creation and Figures Throughout the Ages, mentions that Zar is his uncle. As for his mother, Layutsa, a woman who hides her faith.


The story consists of several versions, according to one source the Prophet Ibrahim was born in a village called Barzakh. Precisely located in the area of ​​Damascus which is a very famous cave. It is said that when he prays in it, all his wishes will be granted.


 2. Birth of Prophet Ibrahim


Before the birth of Prophet Ibrahim, astrologers told King Namrud that in 1889-1956 AD a boy would be born who would destroy him later. Therefore, he ordered the soldiers to find him so that what was prophesied would not come true.,


Then the boy born in that year was killed even the men were forbidden to have sex with his wife and even every house was guarded by palace officials. Some time later his shaman informed him that the time for the birth of his future discussion was very near.


3. Weirdness at the time of his birth


When the time of giving birth was near, Ibrahim's mother went into the cave so that the royal guards would not know so that the child she was carrying was safe. Her tiny face at that moment flashed a light right on her forehead. That's when various oddities occurred in the area.


The idol that was originally standing strong suddenly fell, the balcony of the Namrud building collapsed, and the crown fell from his head. Furthermore, Ibrahim's mother closed the door of the cave to protect it so that it would not be found by people with evil intentions.


4. Ibrahim's Life After Birth


Exactly one week after being in the cave, Ibrahim's mother found her son drinking milk from his thumb, while honey and cheese on the other finger. after that he left and came back exactly 1 year. His growth is somewhat faster when compared to children his age.


Every month Ibrahim grows like a 1 year old child, when he comes out of the cave he is estimated to be 12 years old. At that time little Ibrahim was looking for his Lord by thinking about big events such as sunrises, mountains, seas, and so on.


 5. The Process of His Journey to Seek God


Shortly after coming out of the cave, Ibrahim tried to find his Lord in various ways. This is enshrined in the Qur'an which is contained in several special suras. Its purpose is as a track record and lesson for humans to know how much power Allah SWT has.


It's just that during his search, Ibrahim found the fact that what he considered great did not last long and at that time there was an assumption that someone was more powerful. In the verse of the Qur'an it is stated, "Indeed, if God does not guide me then I am one of the misguided people."


6. The Beginning of Prophet Ibrahim's Preaching


As a teenager, Ibrahim often asked his father about the real God. At that moment he realized the futility of the statue. Because of this, the desire to enlighten his people grew stronger and finally took the path of preaching.


When he found his father did not want to give up worshiping idols, grief overtook him. Even though he had reminded him repeatedly, his stance was very strong. In the end, Allah gave punishment to the disbelievers.


7. Ibrahim Warns His People


At that time the majority of the people in Bait Al-Maqdis still worshiped idols. But the harsh reality must be accepted, that the maker of all these statues is his own father. The form itself is very much one of the personifications of the constellations.


In preaching, there are many obstacles and obstacles that he has to face. Including receiving various rejections from his own people so he still worships idols. They believe that hereditary beliefs are stronger than the teachings of Ibrahim AS.


 8. The Word of Allah SWT About the Rejection of Prophet Ibrahim's Preaching


The preaching he preached was rejected outright by the surrounding community, not infrequently they also committed acts of violence. One of the reasons is stated in QS Al-Anbiya: discussing "We found our fathers worshiping him".


Even though he continued to get rejected, Ibrahim continued to spread the teachings of monotheism, namely the oneness of God to the community. As time went by, people began to come one by one to express their faith. It's just that some are still secretly out of fear.


9. The dispute between Ibrahim AS and King Namrud


King Namrud's fear of his death became even more haunting when he heard that there was a new teaching brought by Ibrahim AS. For the rest of his life, he continues to find a way to prevent the prophecies he once heard from coming true using a threat strategy.


The beginning of the dispute between Ibrahim and Namrud occurred when the messenger of Allah knocked down all the statues except the biggest one. This is explained in QS Al-Anbiya which essentially relates to the answer to the question of his people if the teaching of monotheism is true and he can prove it.

10. Birth of Isaac


God chose Ibrahim's family to receive a special gift among the human race on this earth. for his struggle to spread the teachings, the news of the birth of Isaac and Jacob became a precious gift after waiting for it for many years.


This news was delivered by an angel directly by visiting Ibrahim's residence. The form used resembles a human, even so he is still aware of it because his aura looks different. Then to glorify it prepared a special dish.


 11. The end of Prophet Ibrahim's life


Prophet Ibrahim's missionary journey must be stopped and replaced by his son. At that time, he was sitting on the porch of his house and knew the arrival of an old man with a worn face holding a stick, and he asked to enter and then dine with him.


Unexpectedly the old man was the angel Azrael. After a year had passed, Izrail came back with a handsome form. But there was a bargain when it was going to take the life of Prophet Ibrahim AS. These things make angels have to deliver orders to Allah SWT.


The miracle of Prophet Ibrahim AS

1. His body was not scorched by fire


Prophet Ibrahim's courage against Namrud, made the king angry because apart from fearing that his past predictions would come true, his followers were also decreasing. thus his wealth is also not as abundant as before. In order to prevent it, he did various ways.


Including one of them by burning Prophet Ibrahim in a blazing fire. The surprising fact is that the body of the Prophet of Allah was not touched by fire at all, it was even said to feel cold. This incident is enshrined in QS Al-Anbiya verse 69 which is now often used as one of the verses of ruqyah.


2. Can Remove Honey from His Fingers


As a child, Ibrahim was left by his mother in the cave alone to avoid bloodshed. His mother also visited not often, but strangely, his son's finger could secrete honey. While the other part there is cheese so that the nutrients are still met.


Even though it looks like a lack of food, the little prophet Ibrahim can grow faster when compared to children his age. Even when he came out of the cave, he already looked like 12 years old. This miracle is not owned by all the Prophets, because Allah sent miracles as needed.


 3. Reviving Dead Beings


This incident is immortalized in one of the surahs namely Al-Baqarah verse 260 which confirms that at that time Prophet Ibrahim did not believe in the oneness of God. Finally, it was shown how to revive dead creatures, which of course cannot be done by normal humans.


In QS Al-Baqarah it is said that God ordered Ibrahim to chop up the bird's body and then put it on a hill. Then He had to call him and the miraculous event took place. The creature came back to life so that it could fly towards him.


 


4. Turning Sand Into Food

Miracles themselves are extraordinary events given to the Prophets and Messengers of Allah. Because of that there are many impossible things that can happen including turning sand into food. The beginning of the incident when Ibrahim came to Namrud to get food.


However, his hopes were dashed because he remained steadfast in his stance when asked who his God was. Magical events began when he brought the sand from the emerald back home. the next day the contents of his pocket full of ingredients in the form of vegetables and meat.


 5. Milk comes out of his thumb


Still related to the story about his birth, even though he lived in a lonely cave alone and far from the village, it turned out that God was protecting him. When his mother visited, it turned out that little Ibrahim was sucking milk from his thumb so that his food needs were met.


Surprisingly again, the part of his face looks glowing precisely on the forehead. It was then, his mother began to think how special her son was. The glory that God gives is certainly special for His servants who will later spread the dinul haq and teachings about oneness.


 6. The First Person to Build the Kaaba


One of the wonders of the world found in Mecca, namely the Kaaba, is still visited by Muslims around the world. Its first construction occurred during the time of the prophet Abraham. The process gets direct guidance from Allah SWT with an amazing design.


At first, Allah ordered to build a house for Him. Then he sent a cloud to ask Ibrahim if his task had been carried out. After getting the answer, Allah immediately brought the foundation. Then he and his son raised the building.


Interesting Story of Sacrifice for Muslims

The marriage relationship between Prophet Ibrahim and Siti Hajar made his heart sad because he had not been blessed with offspring. But he did not sit idly by and continued to pray to Allah SWT. Until finally blessed with Ismail, but there are surprising facts that will be discussed below:


 1. Ismail and his mother moved to Mecca at the command of Allah SWT

After some time after the birth of Ismail, Allah SWT ordered Ibrahim to move his wife and son to Mecca. It turns out that there is a secret behind it, namely, the destination is the location where the Kaaba will later stand firmly.


In the past, the city of Mecca was an area with scorching heat and barren land. It's just that he had to accept the harsh reality that he had to be left with his son by Ibrahim. Belief in Allah SWT that makes them able to survive and fulfill all His commands.


2. Siti Hajar Can't Breastfeed Ismail

When the order came to stay in Mecca, Ismail and his mother were finally ushered into a barren place. Until finally running out of supplies, Siti Hajar was confused because she couldn't breastfeed her son, which made her confused.


3. Ismail grew up

After going through a long journey and passing various tests with his parents, Ismail grew up to be a very religious young man. His piety made him unwavering even though various temptations approached him one after another to prepare to be his father's successor.


That's when the order appeared that tested the faith of the family of Ibrahim. That is, the time has come for the order to slaughter his own son. Although initially unsure, your name is your child and wife support his decision to obey Allah SWT whatever the final result will be.


4. Prophet Ibrahim's dream until the order to slaughter Ishmael

Once upon a time, orders came down to slaughter his long-coveted son. But Ibrahim still doubts whether his dream came down directly from Allah SWT or just a trick of the devil. But it turns out that the dream did not come once but more than that.


Finally, Prophet Ibrahim told his wife and Satan influenced them to make them confused. When Ismail heard it, he immediately agreed and convinced his father to carry out Allah's orders because he believed that Allah wanted the best.

5. Implementation of Ismail's Slaughter

After making various considerations, in the end the unanimous decision to be taken was to slaughter his beloved son who had been waiting for a long time. One of the purposes is that God wants to test the extent of Abraham's love for Him after the birth of the child.


Although initially doubts arose and coupled with the whispers of the devil who was expelled by throwing stones at him, finally Ismail's parents gave everything to Allah SWT. It was then that a shocking incident began in return for his obedience to all the recommendations.


 6. Ishmael was replaced by a sheep

This slaughter order does seem very tragic, but Allah SWT keeps a big secret behind it. Before carrying out the process, Ibrahim first sharpened his knife so that his son would not be in pain when slaughtered.


At the moment when the knife was drawn right on Ismail's neck, suddenly his body was replaced by a fat sheep by God. This is immortalized in QS As-Saffat verses 103-105 as proof of the obedience of Ibrahim and his family and as proof that sacrifices are prescribed for Muslims in the month of Zulhijjah.
