76th WISDOM OF WISDOM-AL-HIKAM

SIGNS OF STUDENT ILLNESS

"Half of the sign of a disciple's folly, if he did something wrong and his punishment was suspended, then he said, 'If it was a sin, surely aid [gift] would have been decided and removed. Remember! Sometimes aid [gift] has been decided in a way that He did not feel, even though it is only in the form of no new additions, and sometimes He has been kept away even though he does not know, even though it is only in the form of letting you indulge your desires."

Abul-Qasim al-Junaid radhiyallahu 'anhu said:

"While I was waiting for the body with many people to be prayed at the As-Syuniziyah mosque, suddenly there was a poor beggar begging, then in my heart said, 'If someone it works little by little so as not to beg, of course it will be better for him'.

And when at night, I will do my wirid which I usually do every night, feels very heavy and can't do anything, sitting down finally sleep my eyes

Suddenly I had a dream, people came carrying the poor man on a tray [tray], and the people said to me, 'Eat this man's flesh because you have given him a favor'. So I immediately woke up and realized, and I did not feel backbiting to him, only moved in my heart, but I was ordered to ask for halal from that person, so every day I tried to find that person, finally I met on the bank of the river picking up fallen leaves for eaten and when I greeted him he immediately said, 'Are you going to do it again, O Abul-Qasim?'

I answered, 'No'.

So he said, 'May Allah forgive us and you'."

There are three signs that someone gets taufik:

1. It is easy to do good deeds, even though he has no intention and is not the goal.

2. Trying to commit immorality, but always avoid it.

3. Always open for him the needs and desires of Allah ta'ala.

While the signs of someone who is humiliated by Allah are also three:

1. It is difficult to worship and obey, even though he has tried really hard.

2. It is easy to fall into disobedience, even though he tries to avoid it.

3. Closing the door of need or intent to God, so that they feel no need to pray in everything.

The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said:

"God has educated me in the best way and ordered me to do the best morals."

Take their hearts with forgiveness, and encourage good and easy deeds, ignore those who are still stupid, [do not sue] those who are still stupid.

A Sufi lost a child, for three days there was no news, so someone said to him,

'Why don't you ask Allah to return the child to you?'

The Sufi replied, 'My challenge to Allah's decision will be more severe for me than the loss of a child'.

Abu Sulaiman ad-Darany radhiyallahu 'anhu said:

"Allah has revealed to the Prophet Dawud 'alaihissalam, 'Indeed I make lust only for those who are weak from My servants, therefore be careful not to let your heart be captivated by lust, because the lightest punishment for him is that I will remove the sweetness of love for Me from his heart."

And in another part Allah says to the Prophet Dawud 'alaihissalam,

"O Dawud! Hold on to My teachings, and restrain your lust for your serenity, don't let you be deceived from it, you will surely be veiled from My love, cut off your lust for Me, because I only give this lust to My weak servant, for whether strong people will satisfy lust, even though it will reduce the pleasure of praying to Me, because I do not give up this world for My beloved, even I cleanse him from him .

O David!

Do not put between Me and you a realm that can veil you because you are drunk in that realm from love for Me, they are just robbers in the middle of the road against My servant who is just walking. Try to leave lust with lots of fasting.

O David! Love Me by being hostile to your lusts, and resist their lust, you will surely look to Me, and you will be able to see what is open between Me and you'."

Ibrahim bin Adham radhiyallahu 'anhu said:

"A person will not reach the rank of pious people, if he does not go through six obstacles:

1. Close the door of glory, open the door of humiliation.

2. Close the door of pleasure, open the door of trouble.

3. Close the door of rest, open the door of struggle.

4. Close the bedroom door, open the guard door.

5. Close the door of wealth, open the door of poverty.

6. Closing the door of hope, opening the door of readiness to face death.

Ibrahim al-Khawaash radhiyallahu 'anhu said:

"When I was in the middle of the journey suddenly felt hungry,

so that I arrived at the city of Array, so I said to myself,

'I have many friends here, so if I meet them they will certainly entertain me, then when I had entered the city, suddenly I saw the deeds of munkar [immorality], and I felt obliged to prevent munkar.

Suddenly I was caught and beaten by people'. So I wondered to myself, 'Why am I being beaten by everyone when I am hungry'.

Suddenly reminded in my heart, 'You got the punishment because you expect to be entertained by your friends'.

Allah says in one of His revelations [to the Prophet Dawud 'alaihissalam]:

"Indeed, My punishment is light on a pious person if he prioritizes his lust over My love, then I forbid it instead of tasting the pleasures of praying to Me. ''
