The 82nd Syarah of Wisdom – Syarah al-Hikam

82nd WISDOM OF WISDOM, AL-HIKAM

"Whoever can taste the fruit of his deeds of worship in this world, then it can be used as a sign of acceptance of that charity by Allah in the hereafter."

The sweet and delicious deed is a sign of the acceptance of the charity by Allah which is manifested in the world. it is evidence of vengeance in the hereafter. When the servant has tasted the sweetness of charity, then do not stop or incline with the charity. and also do not do charity for the sake of getting sweet and delicious charity because it is the interest of lust. and because such an intention can damage the sincerity of worship. So the sweet and delicious taste of worship is only a measure to justify charity and justify the behavior of the heart.

Sheikh Atabah al-Ghulam said:

"I trained myself to pray at night for twenty years, after that I felt the pleasure of waking up at night."

Sheikh Thabit al-Bunany rodhiyallohu 'anhu said: "I practiced reading the Qur'an for twenty years after that I felt the pleasure of reading the Qur'an."

Sheikh Abu Thurob said:

"If a person is sincere in his intention to do charity, then he can feel the blessing of that charity before doing it, and if he is sincere in doing it, then he will feel the sweetness, that is the charity received by the grace of Allah."

Al-Hasan said:

''Look for the sweetness of charity in three things:

1. When you have earned it, be happy and continue to achieve your goal.

2. If you haven't gotten it yet, know that the door is still closed.

3. When reading the Qur'an, dhikr and when prostrating.''

There are also those who say:

"And when you give charity and when you wake up at night."

Since when have you felt that you have known Allah? that is, when I am about to transgress against His law and I feel ashamed of Him.
