When Does Lailatul Qadar Occur?

Some scholars say that lailatul qadar occurs in the last ten months of Ramadan. Some added, it usually occurs on the odd nights of the last ten of Ramadan, such as nights 21, 23, 25, and so on.

Everyone wants to meet the night of lailatul qadar, a night full of blessings and forgiveness. Most scholars believe that the night occurred in the month of Ramadan. However, no one knows exactly when Lailatul Qadar will come.

Some scholars say that lailatul qadar occurs in the last ten months of Ramadan. Some added, it usually occurs on the odd nights of the last ten of Ramadan, such as nights 21, 23, 25, and so on.

According to Ibn Battal, lailatul qadar most likely occurred in the last ten nights of Ramadan. Therefore, the Prophet increased worship and increased righteous deeds in the last ten Ramadan.

'Aisyah said, "The Prophet Muhammad when he entered the last ten months of Ramadan, he focused on worship, filled the night with worship, and woke his family for worship" (HR: Bukhari)

This hadith shows that the last ten Ramadans are the best times for worship. Especially if the worship is done to coincide with the night of lailatul qadar. Therefore, for those who want to meet lailatul qadar, multiply worship in the last ten Ramadan. Even Imam Shafi'i not only multiply worship at night, but also during the day.
