Qutaylah couldn't help but say hello to Abdullah. The sister of the waraqah priest openly asked Abdullah to take her as his wife, when one morning, Abdullah, who was accompanied by his father, Abdul Muthallib, walked in a hurry across the road in front of his yard.

Abdullah's face was reddened by Qutaylah's spontaneous proposal, and he blushed and replied that he would marry Aminah, a woman from Bani Zuhra. Qutaylah had expected Abdullah to reject him but he did not expect Abdullah to marry Aminah.

That morning was indeed a happy day for Muttalib and Bani Hashim. He will marry Abdullah, one of his 13 children.

Dressed in his best attire, he took Abdullah, his 25-year-old son, along the outskirts of Mecca to Aminah's house. But before arriving at the bride's residence, they had to pass through the settlement of Bani Asad, one of the tribes of the Quraysh tribe who maintained the belief of Prophet Abraham in the midst of a pagan society.

At that moment, they met Qutaylah who seemed to be deliberately waiting at the half-open door of his house. She is a woman among the Quraish community, not only famous for her beautiful face and behavior, but also because her tribe, Bani Asad, is a tribe of scholars, people of the book. Apart from Qutaylah, the famous names from that tribe include Khadijah ra. and Waraqah.

So hearing Abdullah's answer, Qutaylah could do nothing but just continue to stand at the door of his house. Abdullah did catch his attention. The young man from Bani Hasyim was also well-known in the Meccan community as a handsome young man, although that was not what caught Qutaylah's attention. Muhammad ibn Ishaq in the book "Sirah Rasul Allah, Life of the Prophet" edition of Wustendfeld describes, that morning, Qutaylah saw a light on Abdullah's face that seemed to emanate from outside the world.

And Qutaylah's eyes did not stop looking at Abdullah even when the man and his father had walked away from his yard. He met Abdullah again the day after Abdullah married Aminah, when the man returned to the road in front of his house, but Qutaylah refused to say hello even though his eyes were fixed on him.

Abdullah was astonished by Qutaylah's change in attitude, and when he asked the reason, Qutaylah replied: "The light that was on you yesterday has disappeared. Today you can no longer live up to my expectations." Abdullah grew surprised.

Abdullah and Aminah's marriage took place in 569 AD. And the year after that is known as the Year of the Elephant, the year Muhammad [their son] was born. It is their son, whom the Muslims believe as the last messenger of Allah.

A man who has never once taught hatred. The prophet who taught people to be devoted to their mothers. Humans who teach humans to keep their mandates. The prophet who has great power but his house is only enough to accommodate him to sleep. People who never stop praying for the good of other people.
