Resigned

Resigned

One of the roots of the word Islam means surrender or surrender. Submission. We give ourselves a total of 100 percent sincerely follow His will. But if we just surrender, what does it mean that we are just passive and silent?

Islam is surrender, not surrender. People who lose tend to lose before competing. Giving up is not giving up. Giving in is choosing not to do what we should be doing. Islam does not want us to succumb to fate.

Islam is surrender, not surrender. The person who gave up was the person who had only taken one step forward and was then tested, and he chose to go back. Giving up is not giving up. Giving up is not resistant to trials, trials and calamities. Giving up fell to the ground and could not get up again. Islam does not want us to give in to circumstances.

Many thought he had converted to Islam, had surrendered and surrendered, when in fact they were just looking for an excuse to give in and then gave up. Surrender means, we have to work and pick up our rights. It is not called surrender unless we have done something according to the rules of the game. Surrender is leaving the final result to His decision, not yet acting, already giving up or just one step having given up. Surrender is fighting to the finish line and surrendering to the result. Surrender has no power and strength except with Allah's permission. Surrender is sami'na wa atha'na.

And say: "Work you, then Allah and His Messenger and the believers will see your work, and you will be returned to (Allah) Who Knows the Unseen and the Real, and He will inform you of what is you have done." (Surat At-Taubah: 105)

Those who surrender will achieve peace – the next meaning of the root word Islam. Make peace with yourself, make peace with your family and environment. Make peace on the highway, and make peace in the office. It cannot be done with an attitude of surrender and surrender. Only through total surrender to His permission and will.

Fasting worship trains us to surrender. With full awareness we avoid food and drink during the day, not because we can't afford it or don't have it and then succumb and then give up not being able to eat food and drink, but because we choose to surrender ourselves and then surrender ourselves solely to God's provisions.
