The Story of Adam and Eve Wandering the Earth

Prophet Adam and Eve violated what God forbade in heaven, namely eating fruit from the forbidden tree. Therefore, to atone for or purify themselves from the sins that have been committed, Adam and Eve were sent down to earth. As they were created by Allah to be caliphs on this earth.

Adam and Eve came down to earth with Satan too. Adam descended on a mountain in Sarandib, while Eve descended on the hill of Marwah, Mecca and the devil descended on the valley of Garam, Basra near the waters of the Gulf. Long before they came down to earth, there was already life, both animals and plants.

Adam prostrated and asked forgiveness endlessly when he arrived on earth. Even though they had sinned, Adam and Eve received God's forgiveness. Allah sent Adam to this earth to test himself. Did Adam follow and worship Allah or did he turn against Allah's commands, following the devil more.

Meet Eve

Adam thought of his wife. They came down to this earth a great distance apart. He really wants to meet the person he loves. But he doesn't know where his wife, Eve is. He also did not know where to go to find Eve. Even so, he walked down this earth in search of Eve's whereabouts.

The angel came down to earth and said to Adam, “Eve is somewhere far away on earth, she is waiting for you. He was alone. He's looking for you. If you follow this path, you will find it."

Adam immediately set out to follow what the angel said. He was filled with hope that he would see his wife again.

He set out to find his wife barefoot, barefoot. It goes for miles. When he is hungry, he eats from wild plants. When it got dark, he looked for a safe place to rest. At that time, wild animals were still very much.

Adam traveled for days. Day and night he kept trying his best to walk to find his wife. Until finally, he had arrived in Mecca. He felt that in this place or on this hill he would later meet Eve.

On the other hand, Eve was also waiting for Adam to come. However, he also did not stay silent. He is also trying to find Adam. He went to the tops of the hills, hoping to see or find Adam. However, he did not see Adam's whereabouts. He climbed on and on, from hill to hill.

One day when Eve was at the top of a hill, she looked very keenly here and there. He saw someone coming towards him. Eve knew that it was Adam even though it was visible from a distance. Immediately he descended the hill and ran towards the person. He was happy and full of hope to meet Adam.

The expected and awaited meeting took place. Adam and Eve met in the shade of a hill. Adam and Eve wept because they were happy to meet their loved ones. They also did not forget to thank God for bringing them together again.
