The story of the Prophet saw the beauty of Lailatul Qodar
The story of the Prophet saw the beauty of Lailatul Qodar
Muslims believe that the night of Lailatul Qadr is a night more noble than a thousand months. The odd night that is believed to come in the last ten days of Ramadan is a time expected by all Muslims. Because when we do good deeds on that night, it is as if we have done worship that is worth 1,000 months or 83 years.
The desire to obtain the wisdom and blessings of Lailatul Qadr is not unreasonable. Rasulullah SAW himself called on his people to welcome this night of a thousand months.
In a hadith narrated by Imam Bukhari, the Prophet SAW said, "Search in the last ten days, if you can't afford it then don't miss the remaining seven days." (HR Bukhari 4/221 and Muslim 1165).
That special night is still a question mark, and it is not known exactly when it will come. However, towards the end of Ramadan, the Prophet Muhammad was usually more focused on worship, especially the last ten nights. This is as stated by 'Aisha:
"The Prophet Muhammad SAW when entering the last ten nights of Ramadan chose to focus on worship, filled his night with worship, and woke up his family to join in worship," (HR Al-Bukhari).
In a story it is told that the Messenger of God was sitting in I'tikaf last night during the last days of the holy month of Ramadan. Not a few of the companions followed what the Prophet did.
When the Messenger of Allah stood for prayer, the companions also prayed. When he raised his hands to pray, the companions agreed in unison.
At that time the sky was cloudy with no stars. The wind blew the bodies that filled the mosque. In this narration, that night is the 27th night of the month of Ramadan.
When the Messenger of Allah and his companions prostrated themselves, it suddenly rained quite heavily. The mosque without a roof was flooded by rain. There was one friend who wanted to cancel his prayer, he intended to take shelter and run away from the row, but that intention was thwarted because he saw the Messenger of Allah and the other companions still prostrating solemnly not moving.
The rain water flooded the mosque and soaked the entire body of the Prophet SAW and his companions who were inside the mosque, but the Prophet SAW and the companions remained prostrate and did not move from their place.
He was soaked in prostration. But not moving at all. as if he is engrossed in a world that forgets everything. He is entering a realm of beauty. He is covered by divine light.
He was afraid that the beauty he witnessed would disappear if he moved from his prostration. He was afraid that the light would disappear if he raised his ship. He was stuck in his prostration for a long time. Some friends are not strong enough to shiver from the cold. When the Prophet raised his head and finished his prayer, the rain stopped for a moment.
Anas bin Malik, a friend of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, got up from his seat and ran to get dry clothes for the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. But he prevented it and said "O Anas bin Malik, don't take anything for me, let us both get wet, later our clothes will dry by themselves".
What the Messenger of God did showed how much wisdom and secrets lie behind the night of a thousand moons. Hopefully we can use the remaining nights in the month of Ramadhan to get closer to Allah SWT.
