Revealing the Secret of a very powerful Prayer
Revealing the Secret of a very powerful Prayer
All Shari'a teachings in Islam are essentially decrees from Allah, or from His Prophet, and creatures, including humans, have the responsibility to carry them out. As a servant who acknowledges all the greatness of His Lord, of course he believes that His orders or prohibitions are all solely for the good of the servant. However, not all of the Shari'a, whether in the form of commands or prohibitions, can be reached by good or bad values. And in such conditions really tested the faith of a servant in his Lord.
Al-Kisah, Sayyidina Umar bin Khattab once said to the Black Stone : "I know you can't give me harm and benefit, if I have never seen the Messenger of Allah. Kiss you, surely I will never kiss you. The story provides a very clear picture of how Sayyidina Umar carried out worship activities solely because he followed the Prophet Muhammad.
Prayer is one of the second pillars of Islam. Prayers are obligatory on the night of Isr a ` mi'r a j the 27th of Rajab. As confirmed in the word of Allah swt.
"And establish prayer, pay zakat and bow down with those who bow" (Surah Al Baqoroh: 43)
Furthermore, besides prayer being part of the pillars of Islam, whether you like it or not, like it or not, you have to do it with all your heart. The Shari'a in terms of the obligation to pray provides a guarantee, for anyone who performs it will have good behavior, be polite, and avoid all forms of despicable acts. Allah SWT. said;
"Read what has been revealed to you, namely the Book (Al Quran) and establish prayer. Verily prayer prevents from (deeds) abominable and unjust. and Verily the remembrance of Allah (prayer) is greater (its priority than other acts of worship). and Allah knows what you do.” (QS Al Ankabut: 45)
Of course, in our hearts we wonder, why are there still so many people who are diligent in praying, but at the same time they often commit acts that are disgraceful and dishonorable? Responding to such a reality is not wise, and it is not even justified if we answer that prayer cannot actually make people pious either personally or socially. In another verse Allah swt. said;
"Truly lucky are those who believe, (namely) those who are humble in their prayers," (QS Al Mukminun: 1-2)
In the verse it is explained, the lucky ones are those who pray humbly'. So that the commentators argue, a prayer that can prevent abominable and unjust acts is a prayer that is performed wholeheartedly.
As a simple illustration, if someone has the job of removing chicken manure, he also has nice clothes. Of course, when that person wears nice clothes, he will never do his job of removing chicken manure. While people who are able to pray with special devotion', of course, people who always wear clothes of piety. And those who always wear pious clothes , must be people who are very believers. Because of this, praying in a special way is very difficult to achieve, as Allah says:
“Make patience and prayer your helper. and Verily, that is really hard, except for those who are humble,'” (Surah Al Baqoroh: 45)
Prayer is not just words and deeds that begin with takbir and greetings, as defined by fiqh experts, but prayer with all one's heart and a sense of servitude to the Creator who can avoid cruel and despicable acts.
Of course, I don't mean to exaggerate, like the following story. It is said that once someone asked a sharia expert regarding the zakat he had to pay for 40 goats. The expert replied: "A." Then, when he asked a similar question to someone who was immersed in the practice of nature, he received a very different answer: “The forty goats are not yours in essence, the forty goats belong to Allah swt. so it's wrong if you only tithe with a goat. Be prepared to donate the whole.”
Apart from carrying out religious orders, treating the longing of the soul for the Creator, prayer also has an effect which is to nourish the body. An expert in traditional medicine, Prof. H Muhammad Hembing Wijayakusuma, has conducted in-depth research on this matter. The results of the research were disseminated to Muslims, both through the mass media and a book entitled "Wisdom of Prayer for Medicine and Health". In fact, sitting Tasyahud is believed to be able to cure diseases without surgery.
What is the relationship between prayer and health? according to Hembing, every prayer movement has a special meaning for health and has an effect on parts of the body such as the legs, spine, brain, stomach, chest cavity, groin, neck, etc. Here is a useful summary to know about the healing power behind performing prayers as a spiritual activity.
1. Stand up straight in prayer
Prayer movements if done correctly, apart from being a healthful exercise, are also able to prevent and cure various kinds of diseases. Hembing found that standing straight during prayer makes all the nerves become a central point in the brain, heart, lungs, waist and spine straight and work normally, both legs are perpendicular in the acupuncture position, very beneficial for the health of the whole body .
2. Ruku'
Bowing is also very good for avoiding diseases that attack the vertebrae which consist of the spine, neck bones, lumbar bones and tungging bones. By doing bows, we have pulled, moved and relaxed the nerves in the brain, back and others. Imagine if we pray five times a day, totaling 17 cycles a day and night. If we bow once in a cycle, it means we do this movement 17 times.
3. Bow down
Not to mention the movement of prostration, which is performed twice in each rak'ah, up to 34 times a day. Prostrating by placing your fingers in front of your knees makes all the muscles contract. This movement not only makes the muscles big and strong, but also makes the blood vessels and lymph nodes massaged and massaged. This prostration position is also very helpful for the work of the heart and avoids shrinking the walls of blood vessels.
4. Sitting
Sitting in the final tasyahud or Tawaruk is one of God's gifts that we should be grateful for, because this attitude is a cure for diseases without medicine and without surgery. The sitting position by lifting the right leg and facing the fingers towards the Qiblah, automatically massages the centers of the brain area, the upper vertebrae, the eyes, the shoulder muscles, and many more at the ends of the feet. For men, this sitting posture has tremendous benefits, especially for the health and strength of the sex organs.
5. Regards
In fact, according to Hembing's research, the final greeting movement, turning to the right and left, has great benefits because this movement is very useful in helping strengthen the neck and head muscles. Every believer can definitely feel that, if he prays correctly. The body will feel fresher, the joints and muscles will feel more relaxed, and the brain will also be able to think clearly again. It's just that, there are those who can feel the benefits consciously, some are not aware of it. But it must be remembered, prayer is a religious worship not a sport.
