The story of Prophet Musa Alaihissalam who was once accused of adultery
In carrying out his da'wah mission, Prophet Musa repeatedly received trials and challenges that were very heavy. The first was from the Pharaoh who claimed to be a god and ordered people to worship him. The second of the figures with the same name as him, Musa Samiri, who made a bull and called the people of the Children of Israel to worship him. Then the third from Qarun. Qarun was the people of Prophet Musa. Historians say that Qarun was the son of Prophet Musa's uncle from his grandfather named Qahats. Qarun is known as an-Nur (radiant) because of his fluency in reading the Torah. Once upon a time Allah ordered Qarun to give zakat, where for every thousand dinars the amount of zakat is one dinar. But because he thought the amount was too much he refused. Qarun even gathered the Children of Israel and said: "Moses has ordered you something so you must follow him and now Musa will want your treasure." The Children of Israel replied, "For us, you, Qarun, are our leaders and role models. So order something to save us.” Then Qarun ordered them to bring a dirty woman as bait to accuse Musa of committing adultery. The woman also agreed. Not long after, Qarun came to Prophet Musa and said, "Your people are gathering while waiting for orders and prohibitions from you." Hearing this, Prophet Musa rushed to go there. In the midst of the Children of Israel, Prophet Musa said, "Whoever steals we will chop, anyone who slanders we will whip and anyone who commits adultery, if they are not paired, they will be whipped a hundred times and if they are in pairs we will stone them." to death." "Even though you did you, O Musa?" asked Qarun. And Prophet Musa agreed. Then Qarun told the Children of Israel that the Prophet Musa had committed adultery with a woman. Hearing these accusations, Prophet Musa asked to bring the woman to testify. When the woman came, Prophet Musa said to the woman, "I swear to the substance that sent down the Torah, is it true that I and you have done what people say?" "Not true, Moses. They have lied, they used me as a tool to accuse you of adultery," said the woman. Hearing this answer, Prophet Musa prostrated himself and asked for a do'a adzab for them. Allah also said, "Order the earth and it will obey you." Prophet Musa also shouted, "O earth, destroy them all."
